Het Taallab · spaced repetition

Fourteen cards. Then stop.

Five drill types, pulled from every Dutch volume you own: hearing, de/het, production, cloze and shadowing. Answer out loud before you reveal — recognition is not recall, and at a Dutch counter slow is wrong.

How the intervals work

Again → tomorrow
The interval resets and the ease drops. Use it whenever you had to think in English first.
Hard → ×1.2
You produced it correctly but slowly. That is the grade most learners under-use.
Good → ×ease
1 → 3 → 7 → 16 → 35 days, adjusted by how the card has behaved so far.
Easy → ×ease ×1.3
Only for cards that arrived fully formed. Overusing it is how decks rot.

Progress is stored in this browser under nl-lab. Fourteen cards is a deliberate cap: the psychology volume explains why a short daily session beats a long weekly one, and why rereading feels productive while doing almost nothing.
