Deutsch C1 — the level
where correct stops
being the point.
B2 was measured in errors. C1 is measured in choices: which of nine verbs for said, which particle carries your attitude, whether the sentence should be sixty words long or four. Fifty-six days on the things nobody corrects for you — because they are not mistakes, they are absences.

With C1 you can study any subject in German, work in any role, and read anything without a dictionary. C2 is a different claim: that you can write German that a German would be pleased to have written. That is style, phraseology and register — which is exactly what volume six is.
