Clinical Assessment of IHBAS Delhi
Established in 1993 in compliance with Supreme Court directives to replace the old Shahdara mental hospital, IHBAS operates as an autonomous academic institute under the Government of NCT of Delhi. Serving as the primary psychiatric referral hub for Northern India, IHBAS provides integrated care across psychiatry, neurology, and clinical psychology, including specialized forensic psychiatry and child neurodevelopmental units.
